Spring Sports Registration is OPEN!

Panther Nation - Spring Sports (Baseball, Softball, Outdoor Track (B/G), Girls Lacrosse, Boys Lacrosse, and Tennis (B/G) is set to begin on Saturday 2.28.26!  In order to participate ALL Required forms MUST be submitted through a PARENT's HCPSS Connect Account.  Please see the directions below and reach out to your coaches to find out more information.

**If you did NOT play a fall or winter sport this school year, you will need to upload a copy of the completed physical form.

Directions for Submitting Required Forms

  1. All required forms need to be submitted through a parent's hcpss.connect account OR you can email the forms or pictures of the forms to the GPHS Athletic Director - MLerner@hcpss.org

  3. All athletes must be academically eligible to participate according to the policy below or submit a required waiver and have that waiver approved by the Athletic Director and Principal.

NEW HCPSS EXTRA-CURRICULAR ELIGIBILITY POLICY (9070) EFFECTIVE 7.1.25

  • Athletes must earn a minimum of a 2.0 GPA for the marking period prior to the beginning of the season with no more than 2 failing grades (change from 1 failing grade).  All incoming (rising) 9th graders are eligible for fall sports participation without meeting any grade requirement
  • NEW:  IF an athlete is NOT eligible for participation in sports/extra-curricular activities) they may use a 1 TIME EXEMPTION) to become eligible for 1 season.
    • The athlete is required to submit a plan on how to become eligible/improve academics to the Athletic Director PRIOR to their participation
    • EACH ATHLETE EARNS 1 EXEMPTION IN THEIR HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
    • The athlete MUST be promoted to the next grade to qualify for the one-time exemption.
