Thank you to all those parents, students, and staff who attended our scheduling night on December 18th. The slides
from the event are available below in case you were unable to attend:
In addition, below are additional resources helpful in the course registration process:
HCPSS Resources for Course Registration:
- High School Course Registration Website
- HCPSS Course Registration Catalog
- Synergy Quick Reference Guide for HS Course Requests
GPHS Course Lists by Grade Level - This is a list of courses we have focused on for registrations at GPHS, but you still have access to the entire catalog of courses to research. Please use your teachers and school counselors to answer questions about classes and programs of study.
GPHS Course Offerings - 26/27SY- This slide deck was created by GPHS Teachers to highlight a few courses in the catalog offered at GPHS. Speak with your teacher or school counselor if you have any questions.
Please note, the course selection process is not first come, first served - students should enter their course requests by the January 12, 2026 deadline, and all students will have the opportunity to review and fine-tune their course requests with their school counselor in 1:1 scheduling meetings. Students should enter 7.0 credits and 3 alternates.
Please reach out to your student’s GPHS School Counselor with any specific questions. If you are a rising 9th grader, please reach out to your middle school counselor with questions.
Midterm Mindset Program - January 15th - 20th, 2026
Midterm Mindset is a dedicated review period held on January 15th, 16th, and 20th designed to help students prepare for their midterm exams. During these days, students can attend targeted review sessions with their teachers, focus on specific content areas, and use structured time to study and strengthen their understanding before exams. Midterm Mindset review session sign-ups will be posted on Canvas Announcements for your student’s class or shared through communication from their teachers. Students may begin signing up for the review sessions they need. Sign-ups will remain open through January 12th; however, spaces are limited, so we encourage students to register as soon as possible for the subject and teacher with whom they would like additional review.
If a student chooses not to sign up for additional review, they will stay in their regular Panther Time class, where they can use the extra time to study and prepare for midterms.
If you have any questions about the sign-up process or where your student should go, please reach out to their teacher.
