State Assessments Spring Testing Dates
Students must complete several state assessments in order to satisfy graduation requirements and/or college/career readiness benchmarks. GPHS will be administering these assessments on the following dates:
- English 10 MCAP - April 24 & 25
- Government MCAP - May 5, 6, 8, 9
- Algebra 1 MCAP - May 12, 13, 14, 15
- Algebra 2 MCAP - May 12, 13, 14, 15
- Biology MISA MCAP - May 19, 20, 21, 22
If you are currently enrolled in one of the assessed classes or have not completed these assessments previously, you will be taking these in April or May.
Students are required to use their HCPSS Chromebooks for the assessment. Students should make sure they bring in a charged chromebook and charger each day they are taking an assessment. If students do not have a working Chromebook, they should see Ms. Mattos in the media center ASAP.
Students cannot complete the assessment on personal devices. Cell phones & other electronic devices are not permitted during testing. Any cell phones/electronic devices seen, used, or heard during testing will be confiscated per HCPSS policy, and testing violations will be reported to HCPSS/MSDE for further investigation.
It is important for students to be present and ON TIME for testing days. If students are absent during testing, they will be called for make-ups during another date/time during the testing window (through end of May)
