Pronoun Options in Canvas
All Canvas users, including students, staff, and parents/families, can identify their pronouns in Canvas. As a default, the pronoun field is left blank. Users who do not wish for a pronoun do not need to take any action. Want to identify your pronouns? See the HCPSS News article, Optional Pronoun Settings in Canvas.
GPHS Rainbow Representative
Rainbow Representatives ensure that HCPSS schools are allies and advocates for LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and families. The school Rainbow Representative attends quarterly meetings, receives and disseminates information regarding LGBTQIA+ topics of interest to the school and school community as appropriate, and provides instructional support for educators. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Guilford Park High School Rainbow Representative, Liz Campbell, at Elizabeth_Campbell@hcpss.org
GSA/SAGA
The Gender and Sexuality Alliance is a safe place to discuss and advocate for students who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, asexual, or allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, their struggles, and their successes. Just show up to meetings, no requirements. Come when you can! Meeting dates, times, and locations will be shared on our Instagram page and during Panther Time presentations.
