GPHS Junior/Senior Prom 2026 Information
Dear Panther Community,
There is a special kind of magic in the air as we approach an historic milestone for our school: our first-ever Junior/Senior Prom. This night is more than just a dance; it’s a celebration of the community we are building together at Guilford Park.
To ensure this evening is as beautiful and seamless as our students deserve, please review the following details for those who have purchased tickets:

A Community Commitment to Safety
Starting next week, you will notice a totaled car positioned near the GPHS Marquee. While it is a sobering sight, the Howard County Police Department has placed it there as a powerful reminder. It serves as a visual for our community—a prompt for our students to make smart choices, look out for one another, and ensure that the memories made this season are only happy ones.
I am asking for your partnership in this. Please take a moment to talk with your child about your family’s expectations for safety. Whether it’s monitoring pre-prom gatherings or reinforcing the importance of making responsible decisions, your voice is the most influential one they hear.
We are so proud of our Panthers, and cannot wait to see them shine on their big night. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us keep this season safe, joyful, and unforgettable.
With pride and gratitude,
Principal Waz
