1pm - Homecoming Football Game: Centennial Eagles vs Guilford Park Panthers (Tickets must be purchased online)
7pm - 10pm - Homecoming Dance!
Dance Tickets: $20 payable online or in-person during your lunch shift. Tickets will be on sale at lunches Sept. 12 - 19.
To buy tickets, do the following:
Complete Family File: In order to be able to buy a ticket, students must have their Family File completed by a parent/guardian for the 24-25 school year.
To buy tickets online: Online ticket sales will begin on 9/12. After purchasing your ticket online, students MUST come during lunches to pick up their physical ticket(s). If your Family File is not filled out, students will not be able to pick them up until it is complete. All students must have a physical ticket to enter the dance.
To buy tickets in person: Bring your cash, check or credit card to the Homecoming Dance ticket table at lunch.
If you want to bring a guest: Approved outside guests are welcome - one guest per Guilford Park student. All guests must be in high school or out of high school and younger than 20 years old. An approved guest form is required for all outside guests. Pick-up this form from the Front Office or print a copy. This form must be returned to the front office by Friday, September 6, 2024. Tickets for guests must be purchased in person by the Guilford Park student once the guest is approved.
You bought your ticket - Now what?
Arriving at the Dance
- All students and all guests will need their physical ticket to enter the dance.
- Please bring your photo ID (Canvas Page works as well) and your physical ticket when you check in.
- Guests must arrive and enter the dance with the GPHS student who invited them and purchased their ticket.
Information About the Dance
- Dance is 7pm -10pm. Enter through the main doors of the school.
- Students must arrive before 8pm. No students will be permitted to enter past 8pm.
- All school rules are in effect, including the HCPSS Drug and Alcohol Policy.
- No bookbags or purses may be brought into the event. Students will be asked to check purses at the coat check and should not bring bags or backpacks. A small clutch bag will be permitted.
- Students will not be permitted to re-enter the dance once they leave.
- Please arrange for a timely pick-up at 10pm from the gym side of the school.
Expectations
- Have fun!
- Many students choose to wear semi-formal clothing, and some dress more casually.
- High heeled shoes are not permitted on the dance floor; high heels must be removed (flip flops will be provided, first come first serve)
- Students are expected to follow the HCPSS dress code.
- Students are to follow the HCPSS Dance Guidelines. Scroll a little more than midway down the page to see the guidelines.
