Maryland Winds, a professional concert band, has partnered with Guilford Park High School to provide students with some unique opportunities.  GPHS will provide rehearsal space and in exchange our students will receive quarterly sectionals, side-by-side performance opportunities, free tickets to performances and more.

The first concert is Sunday, September 29 at 3pm at GPHS and will feature a new work by Baltimore composer Alexandra Gardner, inspired by the pictures taken by the James Webb telescope. There will be a pre-concert talk with the composer at 2:30, with images from the telescope!

Sunday's performance is FREE thanks to a sponsorship grant from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Inner Arbor Trust. Even though it's free, you do need tickets and those can be acquired online.
