Dear GPHS Community, 

August is a big month for GPHS and I cannot wait! Starting on August 2, we are having our virtual Fall Sports ‘Meet the Coaches Night’ (see below for the Google Code).  This will be followed by the start of  Fall Sports on August 9.  I am so excited to see our student athletes begin to use our amazing facilities! At our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on August 12, we will welcome our school community and Howard County community - families, students, residents - through our doors.

On August 17, the inaugural staff of GPHS will arrive! Over the course of 2 weeks,  we will engage in community building, professional learning, team meetings, classroom set-up and much more. During this time, we will also hold our Student Orientation from 9am - 11am on August 24. Students will have an opportunity to learn the building and walk their schedules, meeting our staff in the process! Our first day of school in the history of GPHS is on August 28! We will be sending out additional information regarding the Student Orientation and the first day of school in the near future, so please stay tuned!
